Ship to Shore PhonoCo. is proud to present the fourth volume in the limited edition The Last Drive-In with Joe Bob Briggs VHS cassette series, Tammy & The T-Rex!
When Michael (Paul Walker, The Fast And The Furious, Monster In The Closet) falls in love with the popular Tammy (Denise Richards, Starship Troopers, Drop Dead Gorgeous) he gets more than he bargained for when Tammy’s abusive ex-boyfriend and gang leader, Billy, decides to take his anger out on poor Michael… leaving him for dead in an animal park!
Unfortunately this is not the end of Michael’s woes. His comatose body is stolen by the nefarious Dr Wachenstein (Terry Kiser, Weekend At Bernie’s, Friday The 13th Part VII: The New Blood) and when Michael wakes up he discovers that his brain has been implanted into the body of a 12-foot tall animatronic Tyrannosaurus Rex! Breaking free from his shackles, Michael sets out to get bloody revenge on those who wronged him… and to convince the woman he loves that he is still alive.
“Oh sweet Jesus, it’s a massacre!”
After only being available in a heavily truncated “family friendly” version for over two decades, the movie has experienced a recent appreciation by critics and audiences alike and is now considered a modern-day B-movie classic thanks to the discovery of the original uncut 35mm print. painstakingly remastered & released by Vinegar Syndrome. Tammy & The T-Rex is presented here in its proper, director’s “gorecut,” featuring head chomping, gut-splurging, skull-sawing and the delightful campy earnestness that has made the film a cult favourite, all overseen by the Drive-In host himself, Joe Bob Briggs, in this special Valentine's Day episode of The Last Drive-In. Expect much trivia, asides and Darcy The Mail Girl’s amazing cosplay costume.
